PPE is the last line of defense between the employees and the hazards they work with every day. What happens, though, when there is a shortage of that protective equipment? What can be done, for instance, when a pandemic changes what PPE you need and you are unable to obtain the proper supplies?

This presentation will provide methods for obtaining the correct PPE and providing staff training in all healthcare settings when new PPE is all that is available. Learn ways to safely extend the life of PPE and better understand the regulations and guidelines that drive the management of PPE under normal circumstances and in times of crisis.
