Wilson Memorial Hospital Adopts Amplifi for Formulary Management
Web-based pharmacy tool helps hospital provide medication information to staff.
Bellevue, Washington, — Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., software-as-a-service provider to more than 1,300 hospitals in the United States, announced that Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio has implemented Amplifi to manage their formulary and communicate medication information throughout the hospital.
“I use Amplifi to keep physicians and staff informed on any formulary changes,” said Melody Eppley, Director of Pharmacy at Wilson Memorial Hospital. “Back orders and recalls are becoming an ever-increasing problem. Amplifi keeps the staff up to date on the ‘why’ behind the shortages. This makes my job much easier.”
Amplifi is a flexible, robust formulary management and pharmacy communications application with integrated drug information. It helps Wilson Memorial Hospital improve communication among hospital staff while managing, updating, and communicating their formulary in print and on the web.
“I can quickly upload important information like my pharmacy and therapeutic minutes,” Eppley added. “This improves communication with the whole hospital and all of our physician offices.”
