Membership Now Open for the First and Only Individual Membership Program for Patient Safety Field

January 26, 2011—The American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety invites you to join its community of individuals committed to accelerating the delivery of safe patient care. Established by the widely-respected National Patient Safety Foundation, the goal of ASPPS is to advance patient safety as a unique and vital healthcare discipline.

The Society’s multi-disciplinary membership reflects the understanding and value of teamwork as a pre-condition to patient safety. Membership is open to professionals whose primary responsibility is patient safety, as well as to individuals across other healthcare disciplines, medical students, providers, risk management and quality leaders, patient safety advocates, and all those committed to the delivery of safe patient care.

The Society is the latest addition to the National Patient Safety Foundation’s comprehensive portfolio of patient safety programs. NPSF is the leading voice for patient safety, committed to a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to advancing safe care.
