ABQAURP NEWS

31st Annual Health Care Quality and Patient Safety Conference

Join ABQAURP at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, November 17-18, 2008

Henry Ford said, "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." Teamwork is the ability to work as a group toward a common vision. Given the complexity of the health care setting, everyone — including the patient — must work together when navigating through the system for the patient to achieve an optimal result.

Join ABQAURP as we return to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 31st Annual Health Care Quality and Patient Safety Conference. Day one of the conference will address Medical Devices and Product Liability, Patient Safety Initiatives, Health IT and Provider Accountability, and the Perception of Quality.

Day two will feature a special session on the assessment of the injured worker and their complete state of health. Attendees will hear leaders from the medical and legal aspects of workers' compensation discuss the treatment of injured patients and pain management, and how this integrates into overall medical management.

ABQAURP is grateful for CMSA's involvement and was honored to hold this conference in conjunction with the CMSA annual event.

In sincere appreciation, ABQAURP commends co-chairs, Joel Brill, MD, and Garry Carneal, JD, MA, on another exciting conference! Thank you to the distinguished panel of speakers for their contributions at making this year's conference a timely and memorable event.

Plus, each activity encourages participants to put into practice knowledge learned and assess the impact.
